2017 Ford Explorer Earns Affection of MotorWeek Team

Has the full-size crossover class been calling your name? Well, if so, we here at Causeway Ford encourage you to heed its cries and, subsequently, turn your attention to ours, the 2017 Explorer.

Wondering why we feel like we do?

Then, click "play" on the clip below. The good folks over at MotorWeek are here with more on the latest Explorer:

The Explorer's entry-level engine, a 3.5-liter V6, is by all accounts a gem. The default drivetrain of the Base model, this six-banger boasts a brawny 290 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive are standard; an all-wheel-drive system, meanwhile, is optional.

We're also pretty pleased with its fuel efficiency. When had with front-wheel drive, for instance, the V6-equipped Explorer is expected to return a respectable 20 mpg combined (17 city/24 highway).

For more information about this superstar SUV, or to take the wheel of one, we invite you to swing by our Manahawkin, NJ showroom. Our seasoned staff is available to address your every question regarding the Explorer, or any other Ford model throughout the current fleet.
